Undertones:

Golden shades are odd numbers, rosy shades are even numbers. That all said, these are not vividly yellow or pink. They still lean quite neutral/towards the middle. 

Shade Depth:

Each pair of golden & rosy shades corresponds to one depth category. For example, shades 1 & 2 are the golden and rosy shades for light/light medium skintones, respectively. They will have a similar depth and richness to them.

Shade Flexibility:

Most people will be able to find 2 to 4 different shades they can wear, depending on their undertones and preferences. These bronzers are pigmented, but still contain an element of translucency. 

Picking Shades:

Unless your skin undertones are very strongly yellow or pink, most people can wear both golden & rosy bronzer shades. If you want to make a very safe pick, just go with the bronzer undertone that is similar to your most prominent skin undertone. Golden bronzer shades for yellow skin undertones, rosy bronzer shades for pink skin undertones. 

In general, skin undertones aside, golden bronzer shades will often evoke the look of skin that has been freshly touched by the sun. Rosy bronzer shades in comparison, can often look more like a true tan after it has had time to settle and develop.

Directions: Hold your brush by the ferrule (the base near the bristles), and firmly swirl/whisk in circular motions quickly and repeatedly until you see bristles being tinted. You can be quite aggressive, it isn't like our blush where you barely need to touch the surface to pick up product.

You need less product on the brush than you might think. If your brush bristles clump up, you've probably picked up more than you need.

Once picked up, you can sweep and buff onto the face. It will apply and build almost like a powder, where you don't get that "blotch" of cream that is often associated with cream products that you need to then blend out. Best applied in soft diffuse layers that can be built up. If you pack or stamp it on super heavily from the get go, the "true tone" of the bronzer may not show up as nicely.

This product was not designed to be used with fingers or sponges. 

Storage: Store in a cool & dry area, away from windows and sources of heat (eg. wall heaters). Similarly to our blushes, time periods of not being used & temperature changes in the environment can lead to the surface of the product slightly crystallizing or hardening due to the waxes and stiffeners in the product. It may look like there is a layer of very fine crystal powder on the surface, or the bronzer may feel powdery, waxy, and/or dry.

All you need is to spend an extra few seconds working the brush into the product to "wake up" the surface. Just grab a brush by the base and firmly swirl in circular motions around the entire pan. It should only take about 10-15 seconds, and product should pick up properly from that point on.
