Purpose: A set of luminous and lustrous pearl finish eyeshadows with varying levels of silvers and greys to create different taupey and beautifully grungey tones. No sparkles, just all sheen!
Texture: A firm/stiff cream that picks up incredibly easy and thin. Gives you enough play time on the skin before it dries down to a budgeproof finish.
Shade Descriptions:
Magnetic Maple: lightest of the collection. A sandy taupey beige with a hint of rosiness.
Chilled Cherry: a moody rose tone that is delightfully muted down
Oxidized Olive: An olive leaning (though not green at all) softly grungey bronze
Pewtered Pine: A cool, stoney violet leaning taupe with silvery tones
Lid & Product Care: As of 2026, all the lids on our blush & eyeshadows are made of a much stronger material than they used to be, and are now much more durable. But in general, we suggest against over-tightening the jars. People often think that they need to twist jars shut as hard as humanly possible to keep things airtight, but this is not necessary. Gently twist them shut and that's all you need to do.
Tip: The surface of these eyeshadows can sometimes arrive with a dark ring around the edges. This is just the taupey pigment in this collection that likes to float to the surface and settle around the edges as they cool after being poured. It'll melt away with the warmth of your finger with ease.
Flash Florescence "Weathered Woods" Eyeshadow Collection
Can use fingers or brushes to apply. Primer is optional, the need for it depends on how oily your eyes get, eyeshape, etc. Most people can get away without using primer and getting a full day wear out of the shadows.
