Happy Halloween! Earlier this year we mentioned via our Instagram stories that we thought it would be fun to do a spooky take on some of our products for the Halloween season, and here we are. We had originally wanted to do spooky lip products but thanks to various issues (ahem, tariffs) we had to side step that plan and pivot to blush. Not that we think anyone will really complain.

This was quite last minute as we only kinda gauged interest via a Instagram reel Oct 23rd and here we are flinging these out Oct 30th. Hope the content & descriptions bellow provide enough context for you to think about whether or not these shades are up your alley.

Please Note: We will restock both shades a few times if they sell out. The goal is to cut these off just before Christmas? We're trying to be a bit more cutthroat with these limited releases because they somehow end up sticking around.... oftentimes permanently. Oops. Estimated restock time is approximately two weeks.

Purpose: A cheek colour with customizable intensity.

Texture: A cream that resembles a chocolate truffle in texture. Melts to the touch, but dries down to a soft natural, somewhat powder like finish that does not remain sticky or greasy.

Suggested Tools: Pairs best with the Skyfluff and/or Smallquill brushes, that were designed by us specifically for this product.

Shade Descriptions:

  • Distillate : dusky greige pink

    • A grunged out version of our most popular shade Condensate. This almost looks like a blush and contour mixed into one on the right skintone. It's a very desaturated dusky tone where the pink has been pulled out almost all the way, but there's just still enough in there to be a reminder that it's still a blush. Plume by comparison is paler, less grungey, and more pink. Condensate is significantly warmer.

    • Best on the paler & lighter skintones. If you are anything deeper than the lighter side of light medium, skip this shade.

  • Endothermic : cool mahogany brown

    • A moody version of another of our best selling shades, Exothermic. This shade has been cooled out with some blue rather than black, so you get that moodiness without any sootiness. The warmer your skintone, the more the violet tones will come out. But on cooler and more olive skintones, the muted brown hues will become more prominent.

    • This is a much more universal tone vs. Distillate. If you like the moodiness but aren't sure which to go with or are scared Distillate might be too pale? Get this one!

Lid & Product Care: As of 2026, all the lids on our blush & eyeshadows are made of a much stronger material than they used to be, and are now much more durable. But in general, we suggest against over-tightening the jars. People often think that they need to twist jars shut as hard as humanly possible to keep things airtight, but this is not necessary. Our blush does not "dry out" even if exposed to air. Gently twist them shut and that's all you need to do.

Tip!: The surface of our cream blushes (whether new or used) can sometimes develop small crystal formations called wax bloom that can look like little sugar granules/flakes. This is a harmless occurrence from the waxes & butters in the formula going through temperature changes over time as the product melts and sets with use, transit, or just being in storage. This is much less common with our updated formula nowadays as well.

It does not affect the performance of the blush at all, and a quick swirl of a finger will warm the surface up and melt the crystals right away!
